We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before you set off on your awesome adventure around Salford Quays, there are a few things you need to know...

Why not bring your four-legged friends along? This Trail is along a dog-friendly route, though the majority of it is beside steep drops into water, so bring a lead - just to be on the safe side!

The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at Quayside MediaCityUK (M50 3AH), just a five-minute walk away. Or why not try one of Salford's fantastic Park and Ride services? The Trail start is perfectly placed for access via the tram, with a nearby tram stop at MediaCityUK.

There are some great events in and around MediaCity and Salford Quays, all of which are great times to visit this fantastic location. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Salford Visitor Information.

There are toilets available at the Lowry Outlet Mall and The Imperial War Museum North, both of which you will pass on the route of the Trail. There are also many shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and other eating establishments to visit and enjoy as you explore.

Why not make a day of it by peeking at The Lowry Theatre and Gallery, or even The Imperial War Museum North once you've completed your quest? You could even walk in Hilda Ogden's footsteps by visiting the Coronation Street Experience (booking in advance is required). If you're hungry for more, take a tram trip to Manchester city centre where you could even try our other Manchester Trails to uncover more twisting tales about this amazing city!
