We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before you set off on your awesome adventure to explore Perranporth (Porthperan), there are a few things you need to know...

This Trail has not been marked as accessible for wheelchair users or pushchairs due to some steps, steep hills, unpaved paths and uneven surfaces along the route.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that the town centre can get very busy, so please keep your dog on a lead throughout the Trail. From September to June, you are allowed to let dogs off the lead on the beach. In July and August, dogs are still allowed on the beach but must be on a short lead.

The closest pay and display car park to this Trail's start point is located at the beachfront (TR6 0JL), but this may be full in the summer months. If you can't find a space, head to Wheal Leisure car park (TR6 0EY). Between October and April, you can park on the high street for free.

There are some fantastic events in Perranporth’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful village. While most outdoor events take place at The Watering Hole or on the beach and shouldn't cause clues to become obstructed or difficult to access, you'll struggle to find suitable parking during these times. We recommend checking for events before you set off on your mission.

There are public toilets available at the start of the Trail and at Clues 06 and 16. The route passes several pubs, restaurants and a few cafes to start, but the last shop selling snacks and drinks are at Clue 03, so make sure you stock up!

Looking for more things to do in Perranporth? Make a whole day of it! Perranporth is a great place to explore. The beach is the obvious place to start. At low tide, the beach is three miles long, and there are plenty of fantastic rock pools to explore at the west end of the beach. Taking the coast path west towards St Agnes, you will be met with glorious views. If you fancy something more adventurous, then why not try a surf lesson from one of the many surf schools.
