However, no records seem to exist of how they ACTUALLY built the bridge… Over the years, there have been many theories as to how they did it in those pre-mechanised days. But, while browsing some documents in a junk shop, thrifty local Kay Nye spotted a worn note with a map and instructions. The scrawled writing suggested that the plans were kept in a locked box, buried in the garden of one of the worker's cottages.
