Steve's I-Spy
Welcome to Steve’s Evil I-Spy.
As the founder of Treasure Trails, I have set thousands upon thousands of clues, on all manner of things, all over the country.
Clue setting is a like a big game of I-Spy, and so to celebrate Treasure Trails' 20th anniversary, I want to take you on a journey through some key locations in our history – but with some Evil I-Spy’s along the way!
I'll show you each place using Google Streetview. Click the link, zoom in and out, and search the area without leaving your starting spot. Your task is to find something that matches the letters in my I-Spy statement. For example, 4RB on a B could be 4 Red Buses on a Bridge.
If you get stuck, keep looking! Zoom in and out! Try and think outside the box.
My questions are very sneaky, so good luck!
Locations 1 & 2:
Polperro
Polperro was my home village when growing-up and was the place where I wrote my very first Treasure Trail in 2004, in the form of a Murder Mystery.
Glasgow
George Square in the heart of Glasgow, was the starting point of the first ever Trail written and published by someone other than me, in 2006. Glasgow Merchant City was written by David Wright, our first trained Trail Writer. I went up and tested the Trail with David, and loved it.
Steve's Evil I-Spy
Take a virtual visit to these two locations and see if you can spot the answers to my I-Spy questions.
There are 3 things to find. None are easy, but they get progressively harder! You might want to use the zoom in/out if you’re struggling to find them.
Remember - you don’t need to move from the location. If you do, the I-Spy items might not still be visible.
