We’re on the search for the UK’s coolest and quirkiest curiosities, and want to hear why you Love Where You Live! This week, we’re asking you to shout loud and proud about your local… benches!

Brilliant benches, bizarre benches, bafflingly-placed benches… Anything goes, so long as it’s a bench! We’ll pick our favourites to feature in our Brilliant Benches blog post.

MISSION ONE Details

Your first MISSION is to seek out the best, most brilliant or most bizarre bench you can find in your local area. It could be one you already know about, or you could set out on a special mission to track one down! 

Take a photograph; just the bench, or with you on it – you decide!  Then, submit your photo along with your bench details via the form below. 

Can’t get out exploring at the moment but have a great bench story? We’d love to hear about that too! Have you met your soulmate on a bench or had a moment of inspiration? Let us know, and you could still make our ‘favourites to feature’!

MISSION ONE Deadline

All submissions need to be received by 11:59pm on Wednesday 4^th November. So, don’t delay – get out bench spotting today!  

We’ll announce our favourites and share our Brilliant Benches blog post on Thursday 5^th November, and we’ll contact all winners directly. We’ll brief you on the details of MISSION TWO as well, so keep your eyes peeled!

If you’re stuck for ideas and need a little dash of inspiration, or if you’re feeling adventurous this half term, look no further!

Our Trails are a great way to explore all the nooks and crannies of your hometown with your household. All you need is your local Treasure Trail and a sense of adventure – you never know what you might discover!
