We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.
Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before you set off on your awesome adventure, there are a few things you need to know...
Unfortunately, the route is not marked as friendly for wheelchair users due to some steps encountered at the walled gardens. It would be possible for a wheelchair user to access this garden from the far side if they took a long detour via the street and came back into it; however, these directions are not included within the route. Those with light pushchairs should find this manageable.
Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that dogs will need to be kept on leads at all times, even in the green spaces, as there are waterfowl on the lake.
The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at the Verulamium Museum (AL3 4SW), just off on St Michael's Street, where your adventure begins.
There are some fantastic events in St Albans' calendar, all of which are great times to visit this historic city. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact St Albans' Tourist Information.
There are public toilets available at the beginning and end of the quest, as well as in two places along the route. There are plenty of chances to stop at cafes and pubs in the first half of the route, as well as a park area for a picnic.
Why not make a day of it and peek inside the cathedral, or pay a visit to the Verulamium Museum to uncover more twisting tales from the city's past? If you're up for a challenge and a touch of espionage, you could tackle our Secrets of St Albans spy mission Trail!
