We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.
Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before you set off on your awesome adventure, there are a few things you need to know...
You will need to check before you travel to see if there are any events on (especially in Castle park, as unfortunately, events in this area mean that access to clues is restricted). Please click here to see the latest events in Castle Park.
This route is sadly not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs due to the steps and steep hills along the way.
Unfortunately, this Trail enters areas where dogs are prohibited, so please don't bring your four-legged friends along (unless you have someone with you who can wait with them outside these areas).
The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at St Mary's on Balkerne Hill (CO3 3AA), just a three-minute walk away.
There are some fantastic events in Colchester's calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful city. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Colchester's Visitor Information.
There are public toilets available in Sir Isaacs Walk, and the route passes several pubs and a few cafes along the way.
Why not make a day of it and visit Colchester Castle or the Hollytrees Museum along the way? Or you could treat yourself to some retail therapy in the fantastic Culver Square Shopping Centre.
