The Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks Scenic Drive Treasure Trail starts at:

Great Stone of Fourstones

Slaidburn Road

High Bentham

North Yorkshire

LA2 7DL

England

We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Please Note:

This Driving Trail takes you around the base of Ingleborough, exploring the areas of Lonsdale and Ribblesdale, as well as providing views of Pen-y-ghent and Whernside peaks along the way. Allow a full day for this one and take a picnic or money for lunch!

Free parking is pointed out at all of the stops where available, except for Stainforth where it's pay and; display (on street parking in the village is limited). There are also plenty of opportunities for refreshments and toilet stops in many of the towns, villages and areas along the route (especially High Bentham, Ingleton, Ribblehead, Horton in Ribblesdale and Stainforth).

The Trail starts at the Great Stone of Fourstones, just south of High Bentham (LA2 7DL) on the Lancashire/ Yorkshire border. From Bentham (LA2 7LG), follow signs for Slaidburn/ Station and follow this road for 1.9 miles. Shortly after the cattle grid you'll see the Great Stone on your right. Park in the lay-by or along the side of the road.

Extend your trip

If you have the time, there is a scenic detour within the Trail to go and see the spectacular Stainforth Force waterfalls.
